Cannabinoids are synthesized by Cannabigerolic Acid. CBG is the decarboxylated form of this acid that appears at low levels in most cannabis plants. Because its properties are beneficial to multiple parts of the endocannabinoid system, CBG has a wide range of therapeutic uses. Isopulegol is a terpene that is the chemical precursor to menthol and is known to have a rather fresh, minty flavor and scent and has long been used in the perfume and fragrance industry. This terpene has also been found to have anti-inflammatory, anti-viral and also gastroprotective properties.
